bullet My Mineral Collection
bullet The reason why I started to collect minerals was a simple walk through a small rock show. At once I was fascinated by all these nice rocks. One of the sellers told me about his rock hounding trips at the region of Idar-Oberstein (the quarry Juchem at the Fischbachtal in Rhineland Palatinate). He told me to go there. He said: "go there and you will sure find something". And he was right! This site offers an excellent selection of agates, petrified wood, minerals, and knowledge.
